Saturday, January 5th saw not only LifeHouse's first community meal of the new year but our first farm-to-table community meal! Desi Bourgeois with Grown and Grazed, a new food truck in Ruston that offers fresh, delicious meals made exclusively from local food, partnered with LifeHouse to provide a yummy, organic, and totally local meal for the community that included greens from our very own community garden! Everyone who came was satisfied--including some newcomers to LifeHouse who discovered our community meal through this collaboration. Thank you to Desi, Grown and Grazed, and all the volunteers and community members who ate and communed with us for our first community meal of 2019!
